Project: Sandrine as a duo

Sandrine as a Duo

Duo programme · stripped-down · intimate

In a duo setting, Sandrine presents her music from its most intimate side: stripped-down, warm and direct. With vocals and guitar(s), acoustic sets emerge somewhere between soul, pop and jazz — elegant, calm and shaped by a strong sense of dynamics.

Project: Sandie Wollasch

Sandrine and Sandie Wollasch

Women’s Choice · perspective pop · album

Sandie Wollasch brought her heartfelt project “Women’s Choice” to life. Together with the outstanding Klaus Wagenleiter Trio, she invited women from different genres to take part. The album features, among others, Michelle Labonte, Andrea Ritter, Sarah Lipfert, Sandrine Neye and Les Escapades. Sandrine can be heard as a featured artist on “I Was Wrong” and “Good Woman”.

Project: Sandrine solo

Sandrine Solo

Singer & songwriter · solo set

Solo, Sandrine’s musical signature becomes especially direct: original songs, selected covers and a reduced sound aesthetic in which voice, lyrics and atmosphere take centre stage.

Project: Field Commander C.

Field Commander C. (Early Works)

Leonard Cohen tribute · backing vocals

Field Commander C. brings Leonard Cohen’s legendary 1979 tour concerts back to the stage — performances many Cohen fans consider among the finest of his long musical career. The sound is inspired by these large-scale shows, impressively documented on the album “Field Commander Cohen”, released in 2001. Ten sensitive and highly skilled musicians celebrate the songs of one of the greatest musical poets of our time. Classics such as “Suzanne”, “So Long Marianne”, “Sisters Of Mercy” and “Famous Blue Raincoat” are performed in a sound that has rarely been heard for more than 40 years. Sandrine Neye is part of Field Commander C. as a backing vocalist, adding a warm, atmospheric and subtle vocal layer to the show.

Project: LaJazzO

LaJazzO

Project / band · jazz / pop / crossover

LaJazzO is the State Youth Jazz Orchestra of Baden-Württemberg — a selected big band ensemble bringing together young jazz musicians from across the region. During rehearsal phases and concerts, the orchestra develops programmes between big band classics and contemporary jazz, leaving plenty of room for improvisation and personality. Sandrine was part of this musical environment as a vocalist and gained formative live and ensemble experience there.

Project: FUNKgeræt

FUNKgeræt

Band · funk / soul / groove

FUNKgeræt is an instrumental funk & soul band from Mannheim/Stuttgart — tight, energetic and built around a deep live pocket. The project stands for crisp rhythm, strong hooks and a modern funk aesthetic with a jazz edge. Depending on the set, Sandrine joins as a vocal feature for selected songs, special concert moments and the contrast between a velvet voice and uncompromising groove.
